A direct replacement that offers increases in performance and response, our enlarged cold side boost pipe kit replaces the hoses from the intercooler to the throttle body with a freer-flowing design that offers increased internal capacity. The original hose is 53mm in diameter and follows a series of relatively tight bends. We developed an enlarged hose kit that measures 63mm from beginning to end, offering a significant internal capacity increase of 19%. It also features fewer tight bends to further reduce restriction and improve flow, providing an increase in power and response.     As part of our expanding Fiesta Mk8 platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our intake kit for the 2020 onwards 1.0-litre and ST-Line suitable for track or fast road use. Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a comprehensive solution to improving the car’s original air intake system to allow more flow whilst maintaining low intake temperatures, improving response, as well as sound and aesthetics within the engine bay. Having previously designed a number of induction kits for other performance models, we were keen to develop an extensive intake package for the 2020 onwards 1.0 EcoBoost model to offer significant improvements. Featuring a free-flowing cotton air filter, laser cut shield and accompanying aluminium intake pipe with MAF housing, our kit is a direct replacement for the restrictive OEM air box set up. To ensure the new air filter does not suffer with heat soak issues from the confines of the engine bay, the shield provides a barrier from the heat of the engine and is fed cold air from the original front intake. There is also the option to add a Pro Hoses silicone intake pipe, which replaces the flexible OEM item with a less restrictive, freer flowing hose that’s available in three colours to improve the look of the engine bay. The result is increased power, improved throttle response, heightened induction noise and a more pleasing look to the engine bay.     We’re proud to launch our front mount chargecooler radiator upgrade aimed at BMW B58 models for fast road or track use. The IssueAs the performance of chargecooled-engines depends on the temperature of the coolant inside the system, it’s very important to ensure it runs as cool as possible for as long as possible. As the standard system can struggle to maintain temperature, especially on a tuned application, the keys to ensuring a consistently lower running temperature are to increase the capacity of the system and its ability to cool it. The SolutionAIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to improving the original set up with the limited space available behind the bumper to make it any wider or taller was to instead extend it forwards by introducing a core that’s nearly 60mm thicker, at 90mm in depth. This allowed the use of a triple pass core design to allow the coolant to pass through the radiator three times before it exits, with capacity increased to a huge 23.3 litres, compared to the original 7.7 litres; a gain of 203%. Despite the huge cooling capacity increase that allows the chargecooler system to run cooler for longer, the radiator fits neatly behind the bumper and requires no modifications to fit, using the OEM mounts and the original coolant connectors. To protect the larger core in its vulnerable position at the front of the car, there is also a stone guard.     As part of our expanding Audi/VW and Seat product ranges, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch our uprated auxiliary radiators for DSG or engine coolant suitable for track or fast road use. The IssueDuring extended periods of track or fast road use, particularly for cars with increased power, both the DSG transmission’s oil and the engine’s coolant can reach temperatures that are too high to offer sufficient cooling protection properties. As a result, there is risk of damaging the transmission and/or engine, so the car’s ECU will automatically limit the engine’s torque output and extend the gearbox’s shift times, which makes it feel notably less responsive and eager. It can even cause permanent damage, if it persistently overheats. The SolutionAIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to improving the DSG’s and engine’s running temperatures is to increase the size, capacity and ability of the original auxiliary radiators mounted behind either side of the bumper. By utilising the available space, we developed a replacement radiator that’s wider and thicker. This means capacity is increased by a huge 67% over standard, whilst frontal area is also increased to help sufficiently cool the extra capacity. The core also features a quadruple pass design, which forces coolant entering it to pass up and down the core four times before it exits, increasing the time the coolant passes through the radiator to further decrease temperatures. The result is a radiator that is able to keep cooler for longer, therefore helping the car run at its optimum for longer. Despite the increases, the radiators fit neatly behind the bumper and requires only minor trimming of the original air duct to fit, otherwise using the OEM mounts and the original coolant connectors. To protect the larger radiator core from road debris, there is also a (removable) stone guard. Finished in a high-quality powder-coated black finish, the fitting kit includes all fixtures and a detailed instruction fitting guide. Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a comprehensive solution to improving flow whilst maintaining low intake temperatures, which improves performance, response, sound and aesthetics within the engine bay. Having previously designed a shielded induction kit for the Yaris GR model, we were keen to develop a more extensive intake package to offer further improvements. Using our experience from developing and producing our WRC-inspired Closed Air Induction System (CAIS) for the Focus RS that is proven to dramatically increase power and torque, we embarked on developing an entire replacement air box carefully moulded to our design in a lightweight carbon fibre material to help thermal efficiency. Sealed inside is a large Group-A style cotton air filter that draws fresh air solely from the front intake, ensuring minimal heat soak issues and the lowest possible intake temperatures. Our design also features a replacement MAF housing and rear intake pipe, both 80mm in diameter and finished in black powder-coated finish. Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a comprehensive solution to improving the car’s original pipework to allow more flow and capacity whilst reducing restriction and improving response. The comprehensive 11-piece kit features three pipes constructed from lightweight aluminium for improved strength so they will not fail with higher boost pressure, six Pro Hoses silicone joiners as well as two CNC-machined connectors to make fitting as simplistic as possible. On the hot side coming from the turbo, the original pipework is 55mm and features an indented section which restricts flow, where as our enlarged replacement kit features a 60mm internal diameter from start to finish with no restrictions. For the cold side to the throttle body, the original pipework begins at 55mm and tapers to 63mm in diameter, but out replacement features a 63mm internal diameter throughout, increasing both flow and capacity. The kit requires no additional drilling or cutting to fit and comes complete with all the correct fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed instructions. A must have for any modified Mk4 ST to help the improve the boost pipework’s flow and efficiency.     As part of our expanding Audi/VW and Seat product ranges, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch our uprated auxiliary radiators for DSG or engine coolant suitable for track or fast road use. \n \nThe Issue \nDuring extended periods of track or fast road use, particularly for cars with increased power, both the DSG transmission's oil and the engine's coolant can reach temperatures that are too high to offer sufficient cooling protection properties. As a result, there is risk of damaging the transmission and/or engine, so the car's ECU will automatically limit the engine's torque output and extend the gearbox's shift times, which makes it feel notably less responsive and eager. It can even cause permanent damage, if it persistently overheats. \n \nThe Solution \nAIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to improving the DSG's and engine's running temperatures is to increase the size, capacity and ability of the original auxiliary radiators mounted behind either side of the bumper. By utilising the available space, we developed a replacement radiator that's wider and thicker. This means capacity is increased by a huge 67% over standard, whilst frontal area is also increased  to help sufficiently cool the extra capacity. \n \nThe core also features a quadruple pass design, which forces coolant entering it to pass up and down the core four times before it exits, increasing the time the coolant passes through the radiator to further decrease temperatures. The result is a radiator that is able to keep cooler for longer, therefore helping the car run at its optimum for longer. \n \nDespite the increases, the radiators fit neatly behind the bumper and requires only minor trimming of the original air duct to fit, otherwise using the OEM mounts and the original coolant connectors. Oil catch cans are vital preventative additions to ensure the performance and efficiency of Direct Injection engines doesn’t deteriorate over time. AIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to developing a catch can kit specifically for the model utilises the available space to integrate seamlessly within the engine bay. It features a high-quality laser cut bracket finished in powder-coated matt black, which allows the catch can to attach neatly in place. The can itself features an internal baffle and dipstick, and detaches to allow easy maintenance. It comes with a comprehensive fitting kit that includes all fixtures and fittings, as well as a detailed installation guide. Why do I need a catch can?The original oil breather set up can cause issues with carbon build-up inside the engine’s intake system over time. It forms an oily sludge that covers parts of the intake and inlet valves, which reduces air flow and therefore performance and efficiency. Once the build-up has formed, it’s a costly process to clean, so it makes sense to take preventative measures in order to avoid carbon build-up forming. A catch can also filters harmful contaminants before they can reach the inlet system.
